This cosmological signal is obfuscated by intragalactic sources\, which are 10^5 times brighter than the desired signal. It has been demonstrated that these galactic foregrounds are confined to a particular region of cylindrical Fourier space dubbed “the wedge”. Various techniques have been proposed to recover the lost cosmological information within the wedge by closely modelling the Milky Way’s radio footprint.
